Recycling is the third R of the three R's: Reduce, Reuse, Recycle. Recycling means taking a product or material at the end of its useful life and turning it into a usable raw material to make another product.
With the tire and rubber recycling market becoming increasingly global in scope, Scrap Tire News has strengthened its coverage of tire and rubber recycling developments worldwide.
Tire Recycling Development Corporation (TRDC) created in 1993, by Joseph H. Coffin, with a desire to research and develop a way to reduce the damaged being done to the environment by discarded tires. He developed and designed a usable product by recycling scrap tires.
TRDC has opted to reevaluate the possibility of redesigning the current manufacturing logistics by enlisting engineers to review the machinery currently being used, develop new manufacturing procedures that will improve the production of the product DuraBoard and to locate an existing tire recycling manufacturing company willing to produce the product.
TRDC 2008/2009 goal is to secure sufficient funding to reevaluate the original concept developed here in California when Joe Coffin created the corporation. TRDC main concern has been the stockpiles of scrap tires that continue to damage our environment. We believe that our product can be made from 100% recycled California tire material.
My personal goal is to see my father, Joe Coffin, dream product successful.
